Psychic awareness is a very special gift and ability and I personally believe that actual psychics are far and few in between. There are many who claim to have this gift of spiritual sight, however, the truth is that the psychics are born through two major scenarios that integrate into their psychic development. 

The first case scenario is that you were born with the gift – as in my case I developed the psychic ability from a young age when I unexpectedly experienced the paranormal. There are many who say that this ability runs through your blood; that somewhere down the line someone in your immediate ancestry must have been an active psychic.

In my case my Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother were active psychics however they chose not to partake into their Psychic development although the stories always arise about paranormal experiences that they themselves once had and continue to have.  

The Second Scenario is trauma – It is said that some psychics are born through traumatic events that are integrated into their lives. Through an array of different circumstances many psychics that I have encountered have had an ordeal which opened them up to communication with the other side. There was a member of the popular http://www.psychicsmeet.com community website that told a very interesting story that stood out regarding Psychics – this statement was passed on to him by his grandmother and he shared it with the community members; “The Psychic comes to this world to suffer to bring forth their gift to save people.”  This is indeed a strong statement that many of the traumatic developed psychics would agree with. 

There are also those who say that everyone who has a spirit enveloped in flesh is a psychic. According to this train of thought Psychicship has many degrees of manifestation. There are psychics that are Auditory and some that are Mechanical. We have some that are automatic and those that are visual, and last but not least we have the trance psychics. 

There is a general understanding that development of one’s Psychic ability is individual that those that work little at extending their Psychic ability develop their faculties at a slower pace, whereas those that do more labor in their cause will see growth in their spiritual or Psychic abilities.

AUDITORY PSYCHICS: There are those psychics that receive their message through the auditory sense. These psychics hear voices. In my experience these are the most common type of psychics. This medium gift is also known as Clairaudience. 

MECHANICAL PSYCHICS:  The mechanical medium is the medium that receives messages through intuitive sense. These psychic psychics can also be called intuitive psychics. Intuitive psychics have the faculty of channeling direct knowledge without rational thoughts or interference 

AUTOMATIC PSYCHICS:  Another term known for the automatic psychics is Automatic Writing Psychics – These are the psychics that write through their subconscious minds without having a conscious thought. These psychics are being guided by a spiritual entity or force. 

VISUAL PSYCHICS:  Visual medium is just another term used to say Clairvoyant – these psychics have the ability to see far into the future, into moment that have not yet come to pass.

TRANCE PSYCHICS:  These psychics are also known as channeling psychics. These psychics have the ability to act as a vessel for the spirit that needs to communicate with the living. In some cultures they refer to the channeling medium as a “HORSE” to the entity.  

DIVINING PSYCHICS: This term is used to defined those psychics or psychics that we call fortune tellers, these psychics possess the precognition or prophetic ability and are also psychics that use their ability to predict the future. 

EMPATH PSYCHICS: These psychics have the ability to sense the emotions and feelings of another person.
